On the 1st April the beautiful Dawn married her love Mikey.  The setting was perfect and there was quite a few emotional moments throughout the day.  Dawn and her bridesmaids did each others hair and make up and took time out to have a toast in the midst of their busy preparations. On the morning of the wedding day Dawn and her bridesmaids got a reading from Jenny (Dawns sister in law a medium).  It was lovely to hear Dawn recall what she was told and brought a very spiritual side to the wedding.  Dawn also wore Mikey's late sister Helen's perfume and toasted to her as she got ready. The bridesmaids were stunning in their pastel colored dresses which they had all chosen from the high street themselves from all over the country and Dawn was breathtaking in her dress. As Mikey and his groomsmen arrived at the bandstand the sun was shining and spirits were high.  When Dawn arrived she signaled " be down in a minute" to her awaiting groom.  This was to be the lightheartedness that would be present throughout the day. The lovely Hills performed the ceremony.  After the ceremony guests congratulated the couple and we then did some group shots at the bandstand.  As the guests left I managed to get some romantic shots with the couple before we headed off to the beautiful castle.  The joy around the room was wonderful even as the rain came on and put the idea of an outside group shot out the window.  It just resulted in  myself doing my biggest ever group shot indoors standing on an antique sofa. I may have a career as a royalty photographer in the future. As the guests were seated we were treated to a speech my Dawns brother, Mikey and not 1 but 3 best men.  The best was saved to last by a wonderful poem read made up by bestman number 3 Jamie. After the meal the band set up, (the band consisted on one of the bridesmaids and her husband Jo and Jed...this really was a treat, as one bridesmaids Jo played the fiddle another Skye sang a beautiful rendition on Adeles "Make you felel my love" and the love was most certainly in the air as Mikey and Dawn danced among friends in what has to have been the best part atmosphere so quickly at a wedding for me.
